Quite stormy up high in the middle fork with strong winds, persistent snowfall and reactive cornices. Dug one hasty pit at 6500', NE aspect, depth was 95 cm with 40 cm of right side up powder on wafer thin crust and a much more stout crust 35 cm from the ground. No obvious failure with shove shear.
