-Toured into the Essex area. Performed two semi-formal ECTs (both ENE slope at 6,700 ft); ECTP16 on a more wind loaded location (32cm down from surface) and ECTX in a more sheltered area. Skied ENE slope 35 degrees+ with no signs of instability. -Extremely high winds throughout the day; skin track completely covered in less than 1 hour in some locations. -Skied a south facing slope with a supportable surface which was completely solar and wind effected; natural roller balls and sluffing was abundant.
