Toured to 6300ft in the Middle Fork Corridor. From our vantage, noted glide cracks on a southern aspect on the ridge north of Cascadilla Creek. On our ascent we found scattered surface hoar in sheltered northerly areas open to the sky, crystals varied size. No wind, temps below freezing all day, overcast skies, no new snow. Dug a pit on an east aspect, 6300ft, HS 185cm, and had no propogating results. Skied this eastern aspect with no signs of instability, between 30-35 degrees, convex planer slope, with quality snow that was not sun affected. Noted that in the same area a sun crust became apparent as soon as the aspect became more south facing.
