Quick Observation
  • Better visibility today allowed for views of the Program Area and surrounding terrain. Large crown observed on easterly aspect of Running Rabbit Mtn-Grizzly Gulch. Also another crown observed on a SW aspect of Running Rabbit in a path known as Goat Lick. More details under Avalanche Tab.
  • Some minor (D1) dry loose sluffing on steep sunny slopes this afternoon.

Didn't get a very good view of this avalanche. More uncertainty/unknowns. Looked to be about D2 size. Likley ran some time during the Feb 6/7 storm.
