We Toured up Mount Stanton today. We dug a quick pit about 100' below the ridgeline at 6800' on a south facing slope. we found 20cm of new snow sitting on P+ snow to the ground, HS 100cm. ECTX. Some sof t wind slabs near the summit kept us from skiing the main face off the top. The south facing snow up high was cold when we skied around noon, but it got soggy down low.
