Toured to Mt. Cameahwait today;
6"-8" of chalky, wind effected powder on N facing aspects (7800'-6000') Below 6000', dust on crust (2"-4")
Buttery corn on S facing between 6000'-5000'
The only avalanche concern was loose, dry sluffing on steep, high elevation northerlies (see photo)
Although the sun was intense, temperatures trended near freezing and a dry snow surface was found on the N half of the compass/shaded, at most elevations
