Pit tests ECTN15 x 2 down 25cm on 1.5mm DFr. above the MFcr. ECTN24 x 2 down 45cm on 1.5mm DF/ plates below MFcr. First crust is about 30cm down and is thin here. Second is about 10cm below the first and much stouter ~1cm. Snow above about 5500 ft stayed soft and dried out as you climbed.
