The snow pack was quite stable on the wind loaded east and north aspects. The snow pack was thin on main west side dropping into the valley but in camp misery and picnic lakes area it was between 2 ft and up to 3 and half feet in places. No propigation noted on ECT tests. The east ridge towards the top near the radio towers was wind effect. Large surface hoar 8-10 mm found on north and east aspects in the protected areas at higher elevations.
climbed the switchback trail into Noisy basin, went through the notch and did laps between the radio tower and Black Lakes.
