Dear Abby, Today we skied. There were no avalanches, lots of sun crust, surface hoar on all aspects at mid elevation, no wind transportation where we traveled, winds were low to moderate, snow more moist at low elevations at end of the day. It was quite a a fun day! We dug some pits and got an ECTN30 down 35 cm from surface on sun crust on a WSW. There was a 1-2" supportable sun crust on Big Slide area.
