Warm day in the middle fork. Lots of natural wet slides off the Penrose ridge into rescue throughout the day. Polar aspects still holding good dry snow. Of note quite a bit of wind drifting and slab formation in rescue and on Penrose, though not reactive to skiing or cutting. No surface hoar noted.
