Toured up wahoo Sunday. Sun or melt/freeze Crust was present under the new snow on west and north aspects all the way to the ridge. Very little wind effect noted except on the ridge top between wahoo and cascadilla, where you can see eroded and reverso cornices. The new snow, a couple inches below 4000’ and up to 6” up higher, was sluffing and sliding on the crust below, though not slabbing up where we were even when we were skiing out at 2:00. Sluffs accumulated up to a couple feet deep in spots, and moved enough snow to push me around. We saw a long shallow crown across the cascadilla valley as seen in the last pic, and lots of point releases on the sunny aspects across the wahoo drainage. Overall fun skiing on slopes <35deg, but spooky enough snow conditions that I didn’t want to be there when temps warmed 20-30deg.
