Wandered out to Ricky Martin today in search of west facing terrain where the scaries had hopefully been cooked off, but hadn't been wreckaged by the wicked hand of the wind. Found nearly a foot of recent snow, with the crust more prevalent at lower elevations. On places where thick trees obscured the snow surface on steep slopes behind them, we found reactive slabs. Otherwise, not much to report. Skies were mostly overcast, with no to light wind. Snow was S1 at most, with perhaps 6cm stacking up while we were out there. Temps stayed below freezing.
