Our party toured up Skook to enjoy sunshine and look at wind slabs. We found delightful inversion views. Cornices were impressive and cantilevered in the normal places on the ridge. We found soft wind slabs and dug a hole on South aspect. In our pit we noticed multiple generations of wind slabs, however all were very stubborn. We skied the more sheltered trees near the skinner which harbored surface hoar and softer conditions. Air temps held in the mid twenties and we found what we believe to be Lynx tracks !
