Concerned about buried surface hoar and faceted snow. North aspect at 6600' on a 28 degree slope. Snow depth was 90cm with 6cm of new snow. Thanksgiving buried surface hoar 30cm below surface. One CT resulted in CT 12 with a Q1.5, other CT resulted in CT 15 with a Q1, both on Thanksgiving layer. However snow was unreactive on skin track and on ski descents. No storm or wind slab formations.
