We traveled to the top of Skook peak and did several laps down the south face. We saw no obvious signs of instability and didn't observe any significant slab formation of the recent snowfall. We dug a test pit around 6500 ft and found a generally soft, deep and right side up snow pack. We didn't find any obvious rain crusts or weak layers. We did get a result at 22 taps during a compression test but got no result during an ECT.
