Parked at 4500ft and ascended to 6000ft on S to W aspects. Dust on blowdown (plenty of both) up to 5300ft where there was more of a base. Quick hand pit at 6000ft on a W aspect. Height of snow = 65cm. 15cm of powder (F hardness) on a 25cm slab (4F-1F hardness) on top of 25 cm crust/facet/vegetation salad. No obvious signs of instability though views were limited. Wind calm to light from the West. Nil precip.
