Toured up near spider bowl on the south ridge to lap some NW facing trees and dug 2 pits on WNW/NW aspects around 5,800'. Did not get any proprogation in our ECT's, found the first rain crust about 55cm's deep but not reactive. Winds were gusting out of the S/SW with some heavy snow bands moving through the area. Overall the snow felt stable (not even sluffing) and the skiing/riding was fantastic. Lower down the creek beds are very much filled in with above average snowpack and the way out isn't awful.
