Traveled from Stonewall Creek TH up to bench (base of avalanche path), ascended ridge through trees to lookers left (typical skin trail) to ridge. Did snowpit evaluation. Ski descent was along skin trail ridge then dropped into lower Main Bowl. Other group descended from ridge through upper burned trees into Main Bowl. Snow is variable from really good SH/new snow powder surface, with areas of light breakable sun crust on S-SW aspects. Lots of recreational skiers in area this weekend! Our group of 14 (Avy L1 class) and another ~7 people on Saturday. On Sunday, our group of 13, plus another ~15 folks in various 3-4 person groups. Most taking conservative lines (= <30 degree). No obvious signs of instabilities other than stubborn, but consequential pit results from 1/9 and 1/10.
