Dug a pit to the ground on a NE aspect at 6850, 30 degree slope angle, 135cm total depth. Shovel shear produced one failure at 45-50cm on a deteriorating crust 1.5-2cm thick. CT and ECT did not fail or propagate. We skied NE to East aspects with no signs of instability. A second party reported a significant wumpf on the skin track at an unknown elevation. Winds were transporting light amounts of snow at times
