Relative Size:

Avalanche Length (Vertical Run):

Avalanche Location:
Two deep crowns visible near top of rock chutes but below ridge. Hard to estimate depth - 5'? Depth suggests hard slabs failing on old snow, or just a crap-ton of new and drifted snow that failed, possibly when it warmed. Lake surface (ice) mostly covered with debris; edges showed escarpments suggesting ice dropped from weight of debris, or moved up and down as hit with debris. It didn't appear to have broken, because of the debris on the ice. We didn't ride around shore to look for fish. Didn't see a crown in more northerly path, though perhaps that also failed and produced some of the debris on the lake's east end.
