Quick Observation

* Skied above 5,800 ft and had all snow. Pellets, clumps, needles. Light to moderate snowfall after 11AM. Infrequent bursts of heavy snow that lasted 3-4 minutes.

* Breezy on the ridge after 12PM. Enough to blow snow out of the trees with gusts.

* Heard collapses 4 times but no cracking. The new snow was not adherring to the crust below and I could cause sluffing into steep-sided tree wells.

*Tree wells are growing impressively especially around spruces and firs.

*On the area ski out the rain line was at the bottom of Hogan's East (5,280'). Foggiest Day of the Year award to 3/15/22!
