Quick Observation

Chasing the snotel total we went into the northern whitefish range. At upper elevation we found 20 cm of new snow on the previous sun crust. Minimal sluffing on roll overs. No wind! No signs of recent avalanche. Did a quick hasty pit and found the mid November crust about 55 cm down, and it sheared quite easily with the shovel. Height of snow was 125 cm at 6800', sw aspect
