Took advantage of the nice weather and toured past the sub shields skin track Highway into the alpine. Somewhat arduous trail breaking in the heavy punchy settled pow. Biggest takeaways from the day:
-no wind even at upper elevation
-no surface hoar
-wind slabs not reactive
-bonus 1/2 mile of skinning since the road is not currently plowed
