Dug a full pit at 6000 ft West facing slope. Depth 140cm. ECTN. We expected to see the stop storm slab be more reactive, not the case. When we reached the ridge at 7000' there was wind affected snow, we didnt dig at the top but that wind affected snow was not reactive under foot. There was a very small and thin ice layer 10cm below the surface at certian elecvations (5,000-6,000') We could not feel the ice layer while skiing. Snow was amazing!
