Snow pit dug on south facing (167 degrees) low angle slope, 6190 ft above sea level.

CT1 (Q2); ECTP12

Fractured where most recent snowfall rested on top of consolidated snowpack. Heard lots of whumphing, no shooting cracks while skiing low angle S facing slopes.
