A tale of two seasons. Southern aspects were wind pressed snow and dripping/shedding trees. Northern aspects were old snow and surface hoar and below freezing air temperatures.  By 1pm the southern slopes  were softening while the northern aspects remained dry. Travel was easy with no ski penetration. I was able to see across Canyon Creek and observe the Skook face and the area below Peak 6,895. There was a visible crown on the steeper west side of the Skook face. There was an obvious crown about 300 verticle feet below 6,895 and crowns above the gulliies east of 6,895. There were spot slides below rock outcrops skiers left of the Dorothy's run - the 1,900 ft run that goes to the Canyon Creek road. There was debris in the alder groves skiers left of Dorothy's. The glide crack skiers riight of Dorothy's that is usually there was not visible. All this supports the other observations regarding the active cycle we were going through. Even the dramatic west face of Heavens Peak in the far distance had a visible crown and avalanche profiles.
