We skiied  consevatively 20  to  low 30's degree terrain, due to higher avy danger.  We put an uptrack in the morning and skiied a run, on the second skin up we experienced whumpfing on the steeper part of the uptrack (elevation approx 5,800').   We experienced no whumphing on our first skin up.  The snow pack was moderately reactive on the Feb 8 th rain crust.

Despite warm temperatures  there was no rain at all elevations we skiied at 4400' and up.  We had sun for small periods during the day with several flurries.
