Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Toured around Calf Robe Mountain until I got winded off; gusts were definitely 50+ mph by 1 p.m. above 7,000 ft. Put on skis at 5,500, found rotten, unsupportable snow up to about 6,500, knife hard on all aspects above. Very strong winds were depositing an inch or so of new snow from Friday night into gullies and depressions, creating 1-2 in. thick wind slabs on north, east, and south aspects. I saw a grey wolf in the meadows on the south face from about 30 ft. away, that was way cooler/better than the skiing.
