For various reasons, wondered up Autumn Creek today. Persistent winds were actively loading slopes and transporting quite a bit of now. Dug two pits:
1) ~5400', ENE aspect: Depth 90 cm, ECTN 14 @ 20 cm from top, ECTP Q3 @ 60 cm from top on the rain layer. Of note, the rain layer here is already decomposing and is the first time over the week I've gotten not a clean fracture when it propagates.
2) ~6300, N aspect: Depth 130 cm, ECTP Q3 at rain layer about 35 cm from ground, as above, decomposing
