Quick pit on a dawn patrol:

approx 6800', fairly southern aspect.

depth: 85 cm, the rain crust was about 30 cm above the ground and < 5 cm thick, much weaker than marion lake as we saw monday. there was a 2-3 cm soft but reactive wind slab on top, followed by 40+ cm of snow since last weekend, with the newest snow being the least dense. ECTN 11 about 15 cm down and ECTP 21 Q2 below the rain crust.
