Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Dug a quick pit while out exploring and found a generally consolidated and deep snowpack that lacked many of the rain crusts plaguing lower elevations and the mountains to the north.  Pit was at 7600' - ENE facing - 30 degree slope - HS 175cm.

Layers of concern: at ~150cm we found is a 2cm 1F hard crust with a thin (reactive to tests) facet layer just below, at ~110cm we found is a distinct density change within the snowpack (4F to 1F), and at ~90cm we found rounding facets which are clearly different from the rounding and decomposing snow grains above it.

Results: ECTN 12 Q2 @ 150cm, ECTN 19 Q3 @ 110cm, ECTN Q3 27@ 90cm, CTM 15 Q2 @ 150cm (x2), CTM 19 Q3 @ 110, CTH 29 Q3 @ 85cm.
