Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Shallow snowpack of 50cm on the west face of Snowslip, just below the summit at about 6800'. The raincrust was apparent at the ground, decomposing. No results on ECT.

The snowpack on Running Rabbit was a little deeper. Dug a pit in the bowl at the top of the main drainage, at about 7000'. Snowpack was about 110cm, with the raincrust much more noticeable, about 70cm down, still quite an icy mass. Again, no results on ECT.

Windslabs were present all day along the ridge, though non-reactive. Where we didn't find wind-affected snow, we saw lots of big, faceted, glittery surface hoar.

Many small, wet point-releases were seen on south-facing aspects. Suncrust was an issue on the descent, mainly below about 5000'.
